Stephen Keshi Names 30-man Provisional World Cup Squad

After weeks of waiting, Super Eagles Head Coach, Stephen Keshi, has named Nigeria’s provisional squad to the FIFA World Cup in Brazil. And he named:

•  England controversial striker, Osaze Odemwingie,
• Joseph Yobo
• and injured Real Betis Spain midfielder, Nosa Igiebor in the 30-man provisional squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
•  

The list comprises four goalkeepers:

• Vincent Enyeama,
• Austin Ejide,
• Chigozie Agbim and
• Daniel Akpeyi.

The team’s defenders selected for the mundial are:

• Elderson Echiejile,
• Juwon Oshaniwa,
• Efe Ambrose,
• Godfrey Oboabona,
• Azubuike Egwuekwe,
• Kenneth Omeruo,
• Joseph Yobo and
• Kunle Odunlami.

 Also in the team are:

• John Mikel Obi,
• Ogenyi Onazi,
• Ramon Azeez,
• Ejike Uzoenyi
• Sunday Mba,
• Gabriel Reuben, 
• Nosa Igiebor,

Brown Ideye, Fegor Ogude, Chinedu Obasi and Ikechukwu Uche did not make the list.
