Jonathan Appoints Bode George’s Wife , Roli As NDLEA Boss

President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed erstwhile PDP chieftain,  Chief Bode-George’s wife , Roli  the Director-General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati in a statement  said Mrs Bode-George takes over from Mr Olufemi Ajayi, who was appointed the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) three days ago.

52-Year Old Man Caught At Lagos Airport With Cocaine Packed As Candies

A 52-year old man, Onyejiaju Augustine from Imo State has been arrested by NDLEA officials at the

Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, while trying to smuggle 2.605kg of cocaine carefully and neatly packed as candies.

Onyejiaju who had been on the list of wanted smugglers, was eventually caught during the screening of passengers enroute Etihad.
