Mother Fights Daughter Over Boyfriend In Delta State (See Photo)

  A 42-year- old housewife in Asaba, Delta State, simply identified as Monica (surname withheld) on Sunday threw caution to the wind when she engaged her 17 year-old daughter in a fight for allegedly snatching her boyfriend.

Leadership reports that their fight drew attention as a crowd gathered to watch them on a popular busy road around St. Brigid’s Girls College, Asaba, Sunday afternoon. The mother was alleged to have snatched the daughter’s boyfriend, who works in one of the oil companies in Warri.

Police Uncover Hideout, Arrest 26 Lesbians In Delta State

Police detectives in Asaba, Delta State have uncovered a hideout of lesbians around Awai road Asaba and have arrested 26 suspects.

The public relations officer of the state police command, DSP Celestina Kalu who confirmed the arrest of the suspects, said they were arrested while allegedly having sex with one another at their hideout.

The police spokesperson who explained that the suspects were caught naked, averred that the hideout harbours perpetrators of various criminal activities especially lesbianism.

James Ibori Did Not Receive A Penny From V-Mobile, Defence Lawyer Insists

The defence lawyer representing former Delta State governor, James Ibori in the confiscation of assets hearing, today in London insisted that his client did not receive a penny from V-Mobile account as alleged by the prosecuting team.

Ivan Krolick during his submission took hours trying to convince the court that out of the £37 million connected to V-Mobile which the prosecution team said Ibori’s benefit from, that there is no evidence that the money was paid into his account.
