Barely two weeks ago, a one-storey
building belonging to Christ Chosen Church of God in Edo State
collapsed leaving one person dead, and three critically injured.
And now, another church building has collapsed in Edo.
A church auditorium belonging to Liberty Power Bible Church Incorporated, owned by a man named Moses Erue, collapsed on Sunday afternoon after a heavy rainstorm, Punch reports.
No lives were lost; however, a residential building was said to have been adversely affected by the incident.
It is suspected that the collapse
occurred as a result of the use of substandard building materials used
to construct the building.
