Nigerian Super Eagles Head Coach, Stephen Keshi Sacked
games of the African Nations Cup qualifier.
This comes just after the super eagles won a qualifying game against Sudan, 3-1 in Abuja. Prior to that, Nigeria had struggled in the qualifying stages losing to Congo, and Sudan, and earning a draw in South Africa in their first
3 games. A total of 1 out of 9 points during that stretch.
According to a report by sports analyst, Colins Udoh. The decision was among others announced by the NFF Executive Committee after a meeting in Abuja on Wednesday night 'in the interest of Nigerian football and the desire to ensure qualification for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations finals'.
Keshi's technical and backroom staff were also fired along with him. In their place, Salisu Yusuf,Gbenga Ogunbote and Alloy Agu will join Amodu for the final two games of the qualifying series.
Nigerians have been divided over the performance of the coach with some thinking he deserves to stay on, and others believing he's tactically not on par with the world class
coaches. But after winning the nations cup, and getting to the round of 16 in the World Cup, it's hard to argue against his achievements.
What are your thoughts on this?

Mark Zuckerberg Donates $25 Million to CDC to help Fight Ebola
Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla, are donating $25 million to the Centers for Disease Control Foundation to help in the fight against Ebola.
He made the announcement today via his Facebook page:
Priscilla and I are donating $25 million to the Centers for Disease Control Foundation to help fight Ebola.
The Ebola epidemic is at a critical turning point. It has infected 8,400 people so far, but it is spreading very quickly and projections suggest it could infect 1 million people or more over the next several months if not addressed.
We need to get Ebola under control in the near term so that it doesn’t spread further and become a long term global health crisis that we end up fighting for decades at large scale, like HIV or polio.
We believe our grant is the quickest way to empower the CDC and the experts in this field to prevent this outcome.
Grants like this directly help the frontline responders in their heroic work. These people are on the ground setting up care centers, training local staff, identifying Ebola cases and much more.
We are hopeful this will help save lives and get this outbreak under control.

Ebola cases could reach 10,000 per week in 2 months
WHO assistant director-general Dr. Bruce Aylward gave the grim figures during a news conference in Geneva. Previously, WHO had estimated the death rate at around 50 per cent.
Aylward said the 70 per cent death rate was "a high mortality disease" in any circumstance and that the UN health agency was still focused on trying to get sick people isolated and provide treatment as early as possible.

Singer, Saeon Cries Out - I Paid Wizkid N1.5million For My Single Boogie Down, But Couldn’t Get A Retweet
Wizkid has claimed in several interviews (the latest, with Tim Westwood) that he doesn’t charge a dime for collaborations, but this revelation by Saeon can’t go unnoticed. The sultry singer who just dropped her EP, captioned a photo on her Instagram page “Folks be like ‘I never charge for features’ but i’m N1.5million short and i couldn’t even get a retweet’.
Although Saeon did not mention Wizkid’s name, Wizkid is the only one she has featured on a track this year, which simply means she paid Wizkid N1.5million for the collaboration and perhaps perplexed Wiz is going about saying he doesn’t charge for features.
It went unnoticed that when Saeon released the video and audio for Boogie Down back in June, Wizkid didn’t retweet or tweet a link to the video. Boogie Down was not included on Saeon’s recently released E.P ‘I am Saeon’
WizKid Responds To Samklef

Samklef Cries Out Fame Has Changed WIZKID
"I'm not happy with Wizkid. I like his music, but I don't like him as a person anymore. The reason I don't like him anymore is, why do you go about spoiling other people's business? I never spoiled your business, never came out to say anything bad about you for four years. So why would you go to an OAP and tell the OAP that the reason why you no longer work with me is because my beat is amateur. What does that mean? Those amateur beats was what brought you to limelight, was what made you meet the same Akon who first dropped 'Don't Dull' on your voice." Samklef said.
"I never downgraded him. I showed him love. I used to go to his house...but he never came to mine. He doesn't know my house. He hasn't even seen my son before. It means he doesn't regard me as a friend. I wanted to feature him in one of my songs but this guy kept posting me for years. That's not even why I am angry. I am angry because he's going about disrespecting my talent. Saying these things in public. It is annoying.
"I'm doing fine without Wizkid. I don't want to say I regret working with him but I'm thanking God that we are all alive. But ask him, the people you are going to feature in America, if they were like you, would you meet them?. I wish him luck. I don't regret working with his talent, I only regret working with his person. His fame took him away. He forgot where he was coming from. His person is very disgusting. There's something we call the grace of God. Before Wizkid got to where he is today, somebody gave him a front line, somebody introduced him. He didn't just come from anywhere.
Making music is not just about one person. Banky was there to give him the front line and others came to help out. I'm not the only one complaining, other producers are complaining. I don't want to call names but nobody is saying anything good about Wizkid and you call yourself a superstar when you keep matching other people down. What is the star about you? Is it because you are featuring other foreign artists? You are not the first to do that, others have done that before so why are you carried away?
"I don't want to do anything with Wizkid anymore. Keep it to yourself, keep your name. I have new friends and new family. But he can continue talking. We are listening. I don't wish him bad. He says my beat is amateur but watch out for Samklef." He said
